March began and ended at Parkman Bandstand in the Boston Common
Queer Prom co-sponsored with MadFemmePride
Dyke March Benefit by Truth Serum Productions Speed Dating at Toast Butch/Femme Speed Dating co-sponsored with MadFemmePride According to the weather forecast there was a high chance of heavy rain. The committee spent the days before the march executing a rain contingency plan. Everything possible was weather-proofed. For example, all signs were covered with clear plastic bags. Plastic was hung all around the bandstand to protect audio equipment and musical instruments. It did not rain.
